Father Capodanno has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Sandhills Classical Christian Lions at 4:00 p.m. on February 13th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
While it was all tied up 27-27 at halftime, Father Capodanno was not quite Scotland Christian Academy's equal in the second half on Monday. They took a 67-48 bruising from the Saints.
Meanwhile, Sandhills Classical Christian had to suffer through a rough 53-25 loss at the hands of Antioch Christian Academy. Sandhills Classical Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-11.
Father Capodanno's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-9. Sandhills Classical Christian's record now sits at 2-1.
Father Capodanno didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Sandhills Classical Christian when the teams last played back in November of 2021, but they still walked away with a 31-25 win. Will Father Capodanno repeat their success, or does Sandhills Classical Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
