Christopher Cunningham put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Cunningham was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases.

Even though they lost, Neuse Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northwood Temple Academy only posted a batting average of .167.
The win made it two in a row for Northwood Temple Academy and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.
Coming up, Neuse Christian Academy will head out on the road to take on Lee Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Northwood Temple Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mintz Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
