The Rangeview Raiders will be playing at home against the Mullen Mustangs at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Rangeview is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
Last Thursday, Rangeview had to suffer through a rough 60-30 loss at the hands of Brighton.
Rangeview's defeat came about despite a quality game from Jahiem Alexander, who rushed for 111 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 208 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Prosser, who gained 95 total yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, after only 12 points in their last match, Mullen made sure to put some points up on the board against Prairie View on Friday. Mullen enjoyed a cozy 41-24 win over Prairie View.
Mullen relied on the efforts of Koa Dietrich, who threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns on only 18 passes, and Dante Dupuch, who rushed for 208 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. Jordan Leslie also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Rangeview's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Mullen, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Rangeview might still be hurting after the 35-14 loss they got from Mullen in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. Will Rangeview have more luck at home instead of on the road?
