They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 53-19 victory over American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North. With Poston Butte ahead 31-9 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Poston Butte's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Autumn Thomas, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Julia Harris, who scored six points along with nine steals and eight rebounds.
American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Saige Barney, who scored six points.
