The Waitsburg Cardinals will challenge the Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Waitsburg comes in on three and Tekoa-Rosalia on four.
Waitsburg is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of Washington's top teams: Dayton, who was ranked 21st  at the time (Waitsburg was ranked 14th). The Cardinals took down the Bulldogs 50-36  on Friday.
 Jayton Gleason produced another solid  effort rushing for 207 yards and two  TDs on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 251 yards and four  touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt. His longest rush was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.  Isaias Reyes was another key player, picking up 153 receiving yards and a pair of  scores.

 On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Waitsburg's defensive line and their seven sacks.  Jarod Hankins was especially locked on to Dayton's QB and sacked him five times. Hankins has been hot for a while, having also posted six or more  total tackles the last 12 times he's  played.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Tekoa-Rosalia). Everything went their way against St. John-Endicott on Friday as they made off with  a  58-32 victory. The  game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Timberwolves had established  a  22-point advantage.
 Waitsburg's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Tekoa-Rosalia, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.
