The Brighton Charter Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 58-20 loss at the hands of Arrowhead Christian Academy. Brighton Charter has struggled against the Eagles recently, as their contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Arrowhead Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Benny Rubio, who scored 12 points along with five assists and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rubio has scored all season. Cristian DeLaCruz was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds.
Brighton Charter's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Arrowhead Christian Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brighton Charter will square off against the at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Arrowhead Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on the at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sonoran Science Academy is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
