On Saturday, things could have been worse for Acalanes, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 64-49 loss to St. Ignatius College Preparatory. Acalanes has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Acalanes still got an impressive performance from Maddox Malm, who scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Gavin Dodge was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Acalanes' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for St. Ignatius College Preparatory, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
Acalanes will be playing at home against De Anza at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Ignatius College Preparatory's road trip will continue as they head out to face University at 7:00 p.m. on December 9th.
