After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Downingtown West, Downingtown East was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 win over the Bayard Rustin Golden Knights. Considering the Cougars' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
