Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thurston). They blew past the Osborn Knights 85-22 on Saturday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 23 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Thurston's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.4 points. As for Osborn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thurston won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Rochester at 1:50 p.m. on Sunday. Thurston has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Osborn, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
