Luke Fulda continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a triple-double on 20 points, nine rebounds, and nine steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Quintin Beasley, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Cross Schools and bumps their season record up to 8-13. As for Varsity Opponent, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 268-1018-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cross Schools will face off against Bethesda Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bethesda Academy is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games. Varsity Opponent won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Salem at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th.
