Even though The Hiawatha Red Hawks scored an imposing 31 points on Friday, the Trinity Academy Knights still came out on top. Trinity Academy blew past Hiawatha 55-31. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Trinity Academy.
Trinity Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Harvey Zimmerman led the charge by throwing for 452 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 84 yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Donald Collier, who picked up 256 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Trinity Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Hiawatha, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Trinity Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hiawatha also has no future games currently scheduled.
