Corning-Painted Post extended their winning streak to four on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 9-1 in the process. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Windsor Central Black Knights. Considering the Hawks have won seven contests by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Windsor Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly 12 runs.

For Windsor Central's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paige Cauiola, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. That double was Cauiola's first of the season.

Coincidentally, Corning-Painted Post and Windsor Central will both be playing Webster Schroeder the next time they take the field. The Hawks will head out to face the Warriors at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Black Knights will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
