Mogan Banks made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 20 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Anna Hinde and Stella Spang did most of the damage at the plate: Hinde scored four runs while going 4-for-4, while Spang scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits Spang has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Sydney Francois, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Charlotte Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wesleyan Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .222.
Charlotte Christian's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for High Point Christian Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
