Northgate is 8-2 against College Park since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Broncos will face off against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Northgate is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
On Friday, Northgate came up short against Benicia and fell 45-35. While the Broncos had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Panthers 21-14.
Even if they lost, Northgate's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Benicia's QB won't forget William Jahnke anytime soon given he sacked him twice.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times College Park and Alhambra had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Falcons simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Bulldogs 40-6. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Northgate better keep an eye on Ethan Havens. He was instrumental in College Park's win, throwing for 319 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.3 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 36 yards and one TD. Akeem Smith did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 81 receiving yards.
College Park didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Alhambra to a completion percentage of just 27.8%. The team can thank Desmond Cobb for the heroic effort on defense: he. College Park wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 65.5%.

Everything went Northgate's way against College Park in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Northgate made off with a 36-12 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Falcons' Izaac Jinks, who picked up 41 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 83 yards on only seven carries.
