Blue Valley West is 2-8 against Bishop Miege since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Blue Valley West Jaguars will head out on the road to challenge the Bishop Miege Stags at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Blue Valley West is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Kansas (they are ranked 14th, while Bishop Miege is ranked 158th).
After a string of three wins, Blue Valley West's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were outmatched by Blue Valley Northwest at home and fell 74-46.
Meanwhile, Bishop Miege's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a 80-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of Blue Valley Southwest. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Blue Valley West's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4. As for Bishop Miege, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.
Blue Valley West came up short against Bishop Miege when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 69-61. Can Blue Valley West avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
