The Greenville Green Wave will challenge the Western Brown Broncos at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Greenville will be looking to extend their current 31-game winning streak.
Greenville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Tippecanoe a 3-0 shutout. The Green Wave's pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last six matchups.

Tippecanoe's batters probably weren't too happy with Ella Oswalt, who pitched a no hitter and racked up eight Ks (she gave up a single walk). Oswalt has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 21 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Greenville's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jordyn McMullen, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Western Brown was able to grind out a solid win over Defiance on Thursday, taking the game 5-2.
Charlee Helton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on seven hits and racked up 12 Ks.
At the plate, Aubree Taylor was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one home run. Sophie Herrmann was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run.
Greenville's record is now 31-1. As for Western Brown, their record now sits at 28-3.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Greenville has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11 hits per game. However, it's not like Western Brown struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Greenville came up short against Western Brown when the teams last played back in May of 2025, falling 6-2. Can the Green Wave avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
