The Forestview Jaguars had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.5 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They came out on top against Huss by a score of 67-54. This was payback for Forestview, who suffered a 63-29 loss the last time these two teams met.
Forestview got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Blair Riley out in front who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 17 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Riley scored 15 or more points. Molly Forgan was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Huss' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooklyn Swann, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Swann continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Myla Hoover, who scored 19 points.
Forestview is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Huss, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.
