It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Virginia Episcopal School had no problem doing just that on Monday. They never let the New Covenant Gryphons get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. Considering Virginia Episcopal School have won eight matchups by more than three goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit New Covenant with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hannah Saye (2), Merritt Bell (2), Emerson Moore, and Eliza Miller.

The win (which was Virginia Episcopal School's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those four contests. As for New Covenant, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Virginia Episcopal School nor New Covenant have any future games scheduled.
