Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Sequoia Pathway Academy, who are still winless after their 16th matchup. They were dealt a 86-15 defeat at the hands of Santa Cruz Valley on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 63 points in the game before, Sequoia Pathway Academy couldn't push the score so high this time.
Horizon Honors has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Sequoia Pathway Academy, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-16.
Everything came up roses for Horizon Honors against the Pumas when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 71-17 victory. With Horizon Honors ahead 43-8 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
