Lutheran North's defeat came about despite a quality game from Sion Cleveland, who scored 24 points along with seven assists and five steals. Cleveland is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Isaiah Greenhouse was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Meanwhile, Faith West Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 59-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northland Christian. Faith West Academy has struggled against Northland Christian recently, as their game on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Lutheran North's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-9. As for Faith West Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Lutheran North against Faith West Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 73-38 victory.
