Ellet has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Garfield Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Ellet focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Thursday.
Ellet scored the most points they've had all season to find success. They claimed a resounding 77-38 win over North at home. With Ellet ahead 39-19 at the half, the match was all but over already.
It was another big night for Caitlyn Holmes, who scored 12 points along with five assists and four steals. The game was her seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kenadie Keith, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Garfield's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end last Thursday. They came out on top against East by a score of 37-30. That looming 37-30 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Garfield yet this season.
Ellet is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Garfield's record now sits at 1-3.
Everything came up roses for Ellet against Garfield in their previous matchup back in January as the squad secured a 55-22 victory. Does Ellet have another victory up their sleeve, or will Garfield turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
