McLean's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 62-37 walloping at the hands of Einstein.
When it comes to explaining why McLean lost, one person who can't be blamed is Eros Marchello. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 28 points and 12 rebounds. Marchello scored a full 75.7% of McLean's points, the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Nathan Galeone, who scored 2 points along with 3 blocks.
McLean's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-7. As for Einstein, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
McLean is on the road again on Thursday and play against Georgetown Day at 5:45 p.m. on December 14th. Einstein will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bethesda-Chevy Chase at 7:15 p.m. on December 21st.
