David Emanuel Academy scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 62-54 to The Habersham School Patriots. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now lost four in a row.

When it comes to explaining why David Emanuel Academy lost, don't look at Peyton Lee. Despite the final result, he posted 17 points and seven boards. Lee continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Clayton Hood, who earned four points along with 12 boards and three steals.

Even though they lost, David Emanuel Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.

Daniil Phillips had an outrageously good game for The Habersham School as he had 16 points and four steals. Phillips is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Parker, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.

David Emanuel Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for The Habersham School, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.
