The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees came tearing into  Monday's  contest with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their  game at home  with ease, bagging a  63-33 win over Mayfield. Given Brecksville-Broadview Heights' advantage  in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings  (they are ranked 84th, while the Wildcats are ranked 349th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Brecksville-Broadview Heights was led to victory by  Jessie Zenir and  Ashley Perdion.  Zenir  dropped  a double-double on 13 points and 12  rebounds, while  Perdion  scored 17 points along with six  rebounds and two  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Perdion has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jadyn Brooks, who  scored 11 points.
 Brecksville-Broadview Heights is  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 13 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Mayfield, they dropped their record down to 9-9 with that  defeat, which was their fifth straight  on the road.
 Brecksville-Broadview Heights will  square off against the Minutemen at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Mayfield, they will be playing at home against the Rangers at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
