The Brookesmith Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 25 points or more this season. They breezed by Blackwell on the road to the tune of 80-34. The win was familiar territory for Brookesmith who now have five in a row.
It was another big night for Trey Toft, who scored 31 points. The match was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jase Moreno, who scored 19 points.
Brookesmith has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Blackwell, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Brookesmith will be playing in front of their home fans against Panther Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Blackwell will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Veribest at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th.
