On Friday, everything came up roses for Horizon on the road against Gateway as the team secured a 79-37 victory. With Horizon ahead 35-15 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Horizon found their leader in underclassman Boaz Wisne, who scored 19 points. The contest was Wisne's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Tyreese Robison was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 9 rebounds.
Horizon now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Gateway, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
Horizon will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Smoky Hill at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Gateway, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Kennedy at 7:00 p.m.
