The Van-Far Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 14th straight loss. They were outmatched by Montgomery County on the road and fell 57-25. Van-Far has struggled against the Wildcats recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Van-Far saw an underclassman step up: Chloe Zumwalt scored 11 points.
Van-Far struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They are winless (0-5) when they just don't pass the ball.
Van-Far dropped their record down to 1-15 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Montgomery County, their win bumped their record up to 17-3.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Mark Twain the next time they take the court. Van-Far will host the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Wildcats will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
