They walked away with a 31-23 victory over Compass Academy. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but Stanton was the better team in the second half.
Stanton pushed their record up to 10-13 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points per game. As for Compass Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.
Stanton will head out on the road to take on the Cranes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crane will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak. As for Compass Academy, they will be playing at home against the Coyotes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tornillo has now lost 21 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 3.
