Southmoreland posted their biggest victory since December 29, 2023 on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 50-24 margin over the Yough Cougars. That's more bragging rights for the Scotties, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win made it two in a row for Southmoreland and bumps their season record up to 2-1. As for Yough, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Southmoreland will head out to square off against Central Valley at 7:30 p.m. on December 17th. As for Yough, they will welcome Greensburg Salem at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Yough is facing Greensburg Salem at the right time seeing as Greensburg Salem is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
