JR Jackson Drops League-Best Performance on Friday
Starting off the list is Alliance's JR Jackson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jackson threw for 321 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.4 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 39 yards.
This year, Jackson has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 129.1 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.44 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 38.67 rushing yards.

Jeremiah Thomas Delivers Electric Performance Vs Carrollton
Jeremiah Thomas was instrumental in extending West Branch's winning streak to nine on Friday. Nobody could stop Thomas as he rushed for 91 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 287 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes.
West Branch pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Thomas will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Salem on Friday.

West Branch Wins Ninth-Straight Thanks to Joey Jackson
Joey Jackson's big game helped extend West Branch's winning streak to nine on Friday. Jackson was dynamite, picking up 154 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Carrollton's probably not too fond of Jackson given he always seems to get the better of them. Jackson picked up 138 receiving yards and three touchdowns the last time he and Carrollton duked it out back in October of 2023.

Boston Mulinix's big game helped extend West Branch's winning streak to nine on Friday. Carrollton had no answer to Mulinix as he rushed for 163 yards while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards Mulinix has posted since back in September of 2023.
Mulinix is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Salem on Friday. Mulinix rushed for 112 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries the last time he and the Quakers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Brady White Makes It Two for Alliance
The second Alliance player making an appearance here is Brady White, and for good reason. He picked up 93 receiving yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
This year, White has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 38.8 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after nine games last season, he was only averaging four receiving yards per game.
