Branford always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .646. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastside only posted an OBP of .483.
Branford pushed their record up to 18-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Wakulla Christian School, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.
Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Wakulla Christian School has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .478. However, it's not like Branford struggles in that department as they've averaged .461. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
