Make it seven blowout wins for the Calumet Christian Patriots this season. They really took it to Hebron for the full four quarters, racking up a 44-7 victory on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 22-2.
Calumet Christian found their leader in underclassman Nora Prim, who scored eight points along with nine steals and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Makenna Landkrohn, who scored eight points along with five steals and two blocks.
Calumet Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for Hebron, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calumet Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Heritage Christian at 5:15 p.m. on January 9th. Hopefully Heritage Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven back in December of 2023. Hebron will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on 21st Century Charter at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd.
