The Garland Christian Academy Swordsmen can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 73-21 victory over Alcuin at home. That's another feather in the cap for Garland Christian Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Caden Sandlin was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 45 points and nine steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Doddy, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Garland Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Alcuin, they dropped their record down to 4-9 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Garland Christian Academy will face off against the at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dallas International comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Alcuin, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Patriots at 7:30 p.m.
