Mccormick Came Up Big in New Bern's 56-12 Victory
Starting off the list is New Bern's Terrance Mccormick, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Mccormick threw for 249 yards and five touchdowns on only 17 passes.

Sharpe must have Jacksonville's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Sharpe saw the Cardinals), he rushed for 257 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 15.1 yards per carry.

Karvin Magwood Makes It Two for New Bern
The second New Bern player making an appearance here is Karvin Magwood, and for good reason. He rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Unfortunately for Northside - Jacksonville, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Magwood. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Magwood saw the Monarchs), he rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 31 receiving yards and a touchdown.

D.H. Conley took down J.H. Rose on Friday, a win that might not have happened without Christian Holley's standout performance. Holley was dynamite, picking up 139 receiving yards and a touchdown.
This season, Holley has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 85.4 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 50.86 receiving yards per game.
