Plainview came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Sardis Lions with a sharp 7-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won 22 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Plainview's victory bumped their record up to 32-9. As for Sardis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-20-3.
