The Santee Warriors's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Pine Ridge Thorpes at 7:00 p.m. on February 10th. Santee will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 183rd in Nebraska, while Pine Ridge is ranked fifth in South Dakota).
Last Thursday, Santee was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-52 to Winnebago. Santee has not had much luck with Winnebago recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Pine Ridge had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 points), and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They walked away with a 72-59 win over Lakota Tech. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Santee's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Pine Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 15-1.
