After losing to the Cypress Centurions the last time they met, the Crean Lutheran Saints decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Crean Lutheran took down the Centurions 69-52 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Crean Lutheran.
Crean Lutheran was led to victory by Jacob Majok and Kaiden Bailey. Majok dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds, while Bailey shot 4-for-6 from long range and dropped a double-double on 31 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Majok has scored all season. Arnez Reynolds was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Crean Lutheran has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-12 record this season. As for Cypress, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-6.
Crean Lutheran will take on the Tillers at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Tustin is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Cypress, they will head out on the road to take on the Mariners at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Pacifica will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 440th, while the Centurions are ranked 56th).
