Rosewood won the last time they faced C.B. Aycock, and Khiry Reese did her part to make sure it happened again. The Eagles came out on top against the Golden Falcons by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Reese, who had 16 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last six games she's played dating back to last season.

Rosewood had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-13, 26-24, 25-11.

Rosewood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bella Mazura, who had 17 assists and nine digs.

Rosewood has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Rosewood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Neuse Charter on the 14th. As for C.B. Aycock, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against J.H. Rose on the 13th.
