Immokalee won the last time they faced East Lee County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Jaguars. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won seven matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Aiden Puente made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over 4.1 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. He has become a key player for Immokalee: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-10 otherwise.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Adrian Ramirez, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Immokalee's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 5-10 when he doesn't).
