It was a good run, but Gulf Coast HEAT unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder 63-57. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (55), Gulf Coast HEAT still had to take the loss.

Gulf Coast HEAT's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-2. As for Out-of-Door Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Gulf Coast HEAT will venture away from home to take on Family Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gulf Coast HEAT knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Family Christian Academy likes a good challenge. As for Out-of-Door Academy, they will be home for the holidays to greet Families Instructing Students HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
