Mantachie has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Hamilton Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mantachie has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Mantachie pushed their score all the way to 63 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 79-63 fall against Kossuth. That's two games in a row now that Mantachie has lost by exactly 16 points.
Meanwhile, Hamilton came up short against Smithville on Thursday and fell 49-42.
Mantachie has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Hamilton, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
