Basketball Recap: North Brunswick's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

North Brunswick won the last time they faced East Bladen and Jack Baker did his part to make sure it happened again. The Scorpions took their matchup on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 68-31 victory over the Eagles for which the team can thank Baker, who posted 22 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kane Jenrette, who had 12 points along with seven boards and seven steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.

North Brunswick's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-1. As for East Bladen, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Brunswick will venture away from home to challenge South Brunswick at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Bladen, they will head out to face off against Heide Trask at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
