Rhodes scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Campus International, posting a 53-12 victory at home. That 53-12 margin sets a new team best for Rhodes this season.
Rhodes' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Daniya King led the charge by scoring 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for her. Carolyna Rodriguez was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 61 points the game before, Max S. Hayes were a bit more limited in their contest two weeks ago. They were beaten by Maple Heights 53-19.
Rhodes' win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. As for Max S. Hayes, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Everything came up roses for Rhodes against Max S. Hayes in their previous matchup back in December of 2018 as the squad secured a 55-17 victory. Will Rhodes repeat their success, or does Max S. Hayes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
