After some red-hot offensive attacks in their last three contests, The King/Drew Golden Eagles finally came back down to earth on Friday. They fell 20-12 to Dorsey. King/Drew lost against Dorsey in their previous head to head back in September of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 26-6 score last time.
Keenan Jackson rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown. Jonathan Brown was his top target, picking up 66 receiving yards. On the ground, DeWayne Byrdsong rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown.
King/Drew's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Dorsey, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season.
King/Drew will head out on the road to face off against Hamilton at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Hamilton will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Dorsey, they will be playing at home against El Camino Real at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. El Camino Real is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
