The Arabia Mountain Rams stacked a 16th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lithonia 60-24 at home. The victory was nothing new for Arabia Mountain as they're now sitting on 11 straight.
Arabia Mountain found their leader in underclassman Shanya Heath, who scored 28 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. Heath has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last 20 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Charmaine Owens, who scored 11 points along with seven steals and five assists.
Arabia Mountain pushed their record up to 21-2 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 45.2 points. As for Lithonia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.
Arabia Mountain will head out on the road to square off against Lithonia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arabia Mountain knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully Lithonia likes a good challenge. As for Lithonia, they will be playing at home against Arabia Mountain at 6:00 p.m. Lithonia will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 474th, while Arabia Mountain is ranked 98th).
