David Kier gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April of 2024 on Friday. Boling had no answer to Kier as he didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Kier has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
