The Klein Forest Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Tomball Memorial Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Klein Forest had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Waller 76-62 on Friday. Given Klein Forest's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while Waller is ranked 937th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Tomball Memorial was able to grind out a solid win over Klein Cain on Friday, taking the game 72-65. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Tomball Memorial.
Klein Forest's victory bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Tomball Memorial, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-9 record this season.
Klein Forest strolled past Tomball Memorial in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 75-58. The rematch might be a little tougher for Klein Forest since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
