The Wyatt Chaparrals can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They blew past South Hills 45-23. The win was just what Wyatt needed coming off of a 64-35 loss in their prior contest.
Leading Wyatt to victory were Zyniesha Horner and Tianna Johnson. Horner scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Johnson scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Lee Mathis, who scored three points along with three steals.
Wyatt pushed their record up to 15-11 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for South Hills, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-29.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wyatt will take on the Parrots at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Polytechnic comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for South Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Everman presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Scorpions in Texas (the Bulldogs are ranked 622nd, while the Scorpions are ranked 1512th).
