Everything went their way against Mooresville as North Lincoln made off with a 69-43 victory. With North Lincoln ahead 37-15 at the half, the match was all but over already.
North Lincoln found their leader in underclassman Ally Smith, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 steals. The match was Smith's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlyn Black, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
North Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Mooresville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Lincoln will take on West Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Lincoln will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 393rd, while North Lincoln is ranked 111th). As for Mooresville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hough at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hough is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 63 points per game.
