They never let the Central Baptist Swordsmen get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.
Neylan Walker was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
In other pitching news, Athens McCullar looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has become a key player for Tipton Christian Academy: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most two hits, but 4-10 otherwise.
Back at the plate, Tipton Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Aiden Gray, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those two runs gave Gray a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Austin Tucker, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
